  6. David A. Cherry has been a professional illustrator for more than a decade.  He was formerly an attorney 
  7. who found that he liked painting science fiction and fantasy images more than practicing law.  His work 
  8. has graced the covers of books from almost all the major publishers, including novels written by his sister, 
  9. the famed science fiction writer C.J. Cherryh.  He is a member of the Association of Science Fiction and 
  10. Fantasy Artists (ASFA) and served one term as President of that organization. His art has won many 
  11. awards at science fiction conventions.
